Copystars DVD duplicator optional feature

What the optional feature mean:

-Install HDD, no rom?-- Install an hard drive mean that instead of dvd rom drive as reader source, a hard drive is connected to the controller unit and read over there. The master disc is first placed on to one of the burner drive(usually the first one) and then "loaded" to the hard drive and start the duplication process.

-Install HDD keep rom drive?--Install an hard drive that both dvd rom drive and hard drive are connected to the controller unit and either devices can be used as reader source. When use hard drive as reader source, the master disc is first placed on to the dvd rom drive and then "loaded" to the hard drive and start the duplication process. By using dvd rom, it is simply do it on the fly .
